  • Cook the Filling: In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Use a wooden spoon to break it apart as it cooks. Once it's no longer pink, drain the excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water (about 1/4 cup). Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until everything is well combined.
