  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and nicely browned.
  • In a large pot of salted water, cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Stir in frozen peas and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently add the baked meatballs and cooked noodles to the sauce. Toss everything together until well-coated.
  • Serve immediately while warm and garnish with extra parsley.
