  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Butter or oil, for cooking

  • Instructions

  • Prepare the apple rings by coring the apples and slicing them into rings, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Mix the apple rings with lemon juice and cinnamon in a bowl, then let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
