3 medium apples (peeled, cored, and diced)

1 egg (for egg wash)
Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, mix diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt.
Dust your counter with flour, then roll out each sheet of puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut the pastry into 4-6 inch squares.
Place a spoonful of apple filling in the center of each square.
Fold the pastry over the filling into a triangle and press the edges to seal them.
Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the turnovers.
Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
