- 1 lb white fish (cod, tilapia, or haddock), cut into strips
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup flour
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each fish strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
Notes
- Swap panko for crushed cornflakes for extra crunch.
- Use an air fryer at 375°F for 10-12 minutes for an even crispier result.
- Add cayenne for a spicier kick.
