Description

These Baked French Dip Biscuits are packed with savory roast beef, melty cheese, and served with a flavorful au jus dip. A perfect warm and satisfying snack or party appetizer.


Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits

1/2 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced

6 slices provolone cheese, halved

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1 packet au jus gravy mix

1 1/2 cups water


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Separate biscuits and flatten each one slightly.

3. Place half a slice of provolone cheese and a few slices of roast beef on each biscuit.

4. Fold biscuit dough over filling and pinch edges to seal.

5. Place sealed biscuits on a greased baking sheet.

6. Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley.

7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Meanwhile, prepare au jus dip by combining mix with water in a small saucepan.

9. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

10. Serve hot biscuits with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

You can substitute Swiss or mozzarella for provolone.

Great for parties, game day, or quick dinners.

Add caramelized onions or horseradish cream for an extra kick.
