1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic cloves

1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional

for extra tang)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and salt.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle the lemon mixture over them.
  • Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked and flaky.
  • While the salmon is baking, prepare the lemon butter garlic sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the optional lemon juice, parsley, and black pepper, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Once the salmon is done, plate it and drizzle the lemon butter garlic sauce over the top. Serve with lemon slices.
