2 tablespoons old-style Dijon mustard
5 skinless salmon fillets (about 5 oz / 150 g each)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

for extra tang)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Lemon slices for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and salt.
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle the lemon mixture over them.
- Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked and flaky.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the lemon butter garlic sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the optional lemon juice, parsley, and black pepper, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Once the salmon is done, plate it and drizzle the lemon butter garlic sauce over the top. Serve with lemon slices.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate in the lemon mixture for 30 minutes before baking.
