Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) flank or sirloin steak

  • 4 cups mixed salad greens

  • 1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate Steak: Rub steak with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Cook Steak: Grill or sear steak in a hot pan for 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare). Let it rest, then slice thinly.

  3. Assemble Salad: In a bowl, layer salad greens, tomatoes, red onion, and Gorgonzola.

  4. Top & Serve: Place sliced steak over salad. Drizzle with extra balsamic if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Swap Gorgonzola with blue cheese or feta for a different flavor.

  • Add walnuts or pecans for crunch.
