  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise for the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce for the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sriracha for the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of lime juice for the Bang Bang Sauce
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

  • Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, cayenne pepper, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken cubes and toss to coat. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
  • Preheat your grill on medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  • Grill the skewers for about 5–7 minutes on each side until the chicken is cooked through.
  • While the chicken is cooking, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  • Remove the chicken skewers from the grill, let rest for a couple of minutes, then drizzle with the Bang Bang Sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
