Description
These crab cakes are packed with sweet, tender crab meat and a blend of seasonings, lightly pan-fried to golden perfection. The perfect balance of crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside!

- 1 lb crab meat (lump or claw)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Fry the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- Serve with a lemon wedge and your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, coat the patties in additional breadcrumbs before frying.
- Try serving with a tangy tartar sauce or a garlic aioli.
