- 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook sausage until browned.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. Stir in cherry tomatoes if using.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm!
