Description

This easy-to-make BBQ sauce blends sweet brown sugar, smoky spices, and tangy vinegar for the perfect finishing touch to grilled meats, sandwiches, or dipping!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat.

  • Stir continuously until the mixture starts to simmer.

  • Reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

  • Cool slightly before using or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • For heat, add a pinch of cayenne or hot sauce.

  • Adjust sugar and vinegar to taste for sweetness or tang.

  • Great for brushing on ribs, burgers, or chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
