  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, or croutons

  • Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken breasts. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add diced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Lower heat and stir in the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Mix until smooth and let simmer for a minute.
  • Stir in buffalo wing sauce and heavy cream. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and add back into the pot.
  • Allow soup to simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Ladle soup into bowls and finish with chopped green onions or parsley and your favorite toppings.
