  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) reserved pasta water (if needed)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Noodles:

    • Boil egg noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Beef:

    • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
    • Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Make the Sauce:

    • Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, black pepper, and mustard powder.
    • Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Combine & Melt Cheese:

    • Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, butter, and shredded cheese. Stir until smooth.
    • Mix in cooked noodles and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed for a creamier texture.
