Ingredients

Scale

1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye

thinly sliced

1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion

thinly sliced

1 small green bell pepper

thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic

minced

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese

½ teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Fresh parsley

chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet, sautéing for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  • Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and shredded provolone cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Season with black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize this dish by adding your favorite vegetables or adjusting the amount of cheese to your taste. For a bit more heat, increase the red pepper flakes.
