This Cheesy One-Pot Macaroni Cheeseburger is a hearty, flavorful dish packed with seasoned ground beef, tender macaroni, and a rich, creamy cheese sauce—all made in a single pot for easy cleanup!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • ½ small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup or mustard (optional, for a burger-like taste)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef:

    • In a large pot or deep skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned (5-6 minutes).
    • Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Sauté the Aromatics:

    • Add diced onion and cook until softened (2 minutes).
    • Stir in garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Simmer the Macaroni:

    • Pour in beef broth, diced tomatoes, milk, and uncooked macaroni.
    • Stir well, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
    • Cover and let simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender.
  • Melt the Cheese:

    • Remove from heat and stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and cream cheese (if using).
    • Add ketchup or mustard for a cheeseburger flavor boost.
    • Mix until the cheese is fully melted and creamy.
  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve warm!

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use pepper jack cheese instead of mozzarella for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for 3-4 days—just add a splash of milk when reheating.
