1 pound of gnocchi
2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded
3 cups of marinara sauce
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
2 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked gnocchi, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Pour half of the gnocchi mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella over the first layer. Top with the remaining gnocchi mixture.
Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for about 5 minutes and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
