Ingredients
1 package (store-bought or homemade
enough for top and bottom)
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
1 cup diced potatoes
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter
1 teaspoon dried thyme
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in the diced carrots and potatoes, cooking for about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken, peas, chicken broth, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat and pour the filling into a pie dish.
