1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter, melted
1 cup of brown sugar, packed
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
Optional: ½ cup of chopped nuts
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk them until smooth.
