Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a little melted butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
