8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. smoked salmon, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon capers, rinsed
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt. Bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Once the baguette slices are out of the oven and slightly cooled, start spreading a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice.
Drape slices of smoked salmon over the cream cheese-covered baguette.
