Ingredients
- 8 slices white or brioche bread, crusts removed
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter (for frying)
- Powdered sugar or icing for topping (optional)
Instructions
Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.
Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread evenly on each slice.
Roll up each slice tightly and set aside.
Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in a shallow dish. Dip each roll-up in the mixture, coating all sides.
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Fry roll-ups for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing. Serve warm with syrup for dipping!

Use whole wheat or gluten-free bread for a healthier twist.
Add cream cheese or Nutella inside for an extra treat.
Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
