  • 1 pound of kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups frozen pierogi
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

  • Instructions

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Toss in minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  • In your crockpot, spread half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom. Layer the cooked onions, garlic, and slices of kielbasa on top.
  • Mix cream of mushroom soup and sour cream in a separate bowl. Pour half of this mixture over your layers in the crockpot.
  • Add the remaining pierogi, followed by the rest of the kielbasa and onion mixture. Pour the remaining soup mixture over everything.
  • Season with salt and pepper, gently mix, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.
  • Once cooked, stir gently and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
