Description

  • 1/2 lb corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/4 cup Russian dressing (or Thousand Island dressing)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  • Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  • On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, spread a tablespoon of Russian dressing.
  • Layer each slice with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
