  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 1 loaf (about 810 slices) 1x

Description

Tender, golden layers of soft bread infused with tangy lime and sweet coconut, this tropical-inspired treat is perfect for brunch, dessert, or any sunny occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • Zest of 2 limes

  • ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

  2. Mix sugar, lime zest, and coconut in a bowl.

  3. Separate biscuits and cut each in half. Brush with melted butter, then coat in the coconut-sugar mix.

  4. Layer biscuit halves upright in the loaf pan like dominos.

  5. Bake 30–35 minutes or until golden and baked through.

  6. Make glaze: mix powdered sugar and lime juice. Drizzle over warm bread before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime zest for the brightest flavor.

  • Add a touch of vanilla or coconut extract to the glaze for extra tropical flair.

  • This bread is best enjoyed warm, but leftovers can be reheated.
