Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

Blue gel food coloring

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup chopped chocolate chip cookies (e.g., Chips Ahoy)

½ cup mini M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and food coloring.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.

Fold in chocolate chips, cookie chunks, and candies.

Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake 9–11 minutes. Let cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring.

Blue gel coloring gives the best vibrant hue without thinning the dough.
