4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce
8 slices of bacon
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then chop.
In the same skillet, pour half of the BBQ sauce and heat slightly. Add chicken breasts and coat thoroughly.
Transfer the coated chicken to a baking dish, pour the remaining BBQ sauce over, and sprinkle with chopped bacon.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken.
