3 cups of all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) of active dry yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of warm water (110°F/43°C)
¼ cup of honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
½ cup of dried cranberries
½ cup of raisins
½ cup of walnuts, chopped
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon of olive oil (for greasing the bowl)
Activate the yeast: In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water, honey, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Combine wet and dry: Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl with the flour mixture and stir until it begins to come together.
Add the mix-ins: Gently fold in the cranberries, raisins, and chopped walnuts with a spatula.
