Ingredients

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste (optional, for extra depth)

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with chopped onion until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and tomato paste (if using). Stir and cook for 1 minute.

  • Pour in beef broth and simmer for 3–4 minutes.

  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering until sauce thickens slightly (about 5 minutes).

  • Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
