Description

This Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a comforting, hearty meal packed with savory ground beef, tender pasta, and a rich, creamy sauce. It’s the perfect weeknight dinner that comes together in just 30 minutes!

  • 12 oz (340 g) bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) pasta water (reserved)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • ok the Pasta:

    • Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water, and set aside.
  • Cook the Beef:

    • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
    • Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Make the Creamy Sauce:

    • Stir in diced tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
    • Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in heavy cream. Stir well.
  • Combine Everything:

    • Add cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, butter, and reserved pasta water. Stir until well coated.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.
  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!

Notes

  • Swap beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Make it spicier by adding red pepper flakes.
