8 oz. of whole-grain pasta
1 lb. ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour in beef broth and let it steam and bubble for a minute.
