Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
6. Add heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well.
7. Let the sauce simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
9. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
