Ingredients
Scale
1 lb linguine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prep your ingredients: Start by cutting your chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Cook the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add garlic: Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
In goes the pasta: Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle boil. Add the linguine, making sure the pasta is submerged.
Simmer: Lower the heat and cover the pot. Let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the linguine is cooked al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
Add cream: When the pasta is tender, pour in the heavy cream and add the Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and creamy.
Garnish and serve: Spoon the linguine into bowls and garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
