8 ounces linguine pasta
1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a leaner option)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring gently until everything melts into a creamy sauce.
Add the drained linguine to the skillet and toss. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining butter. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
