Ingredients
4 boneless
skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
8 ounces cream cheese
softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional
for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
