1 lb ground beef
½ small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
Butter or cooking oil for frying
Toppings like diced tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, or sour cream
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onions until the meat is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and gooey.
Take a tortilla and spread a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture on half of it. Fold the tortilla over to create a half-moon shape.
In the same skillet, melt a little butter (or add oil) over medium heat. Place the folded tortilla in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Once golden and crispy, remove from heat, slice into wedges, and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
