Description

These Crispy Chicken Cutlets are golden, juicy, and packed with flavor. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a family gathering, they pair wonderfully with salads, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half horizontally)

  • ½ cup flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style or panko)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Prep chicken: Pound chicken cutlets to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Dredge: Coat each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in a breadcrumb-Parmesan-garlic powder mix.

  3. Cook: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry cutlets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

  4. Drain & serve: Transfer to paper towels to drain. Serve hot with lemon wedges or your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, chill the breaded cutlets for 10 minutes before frying.

  • Leftovers make great sandwiches the next day.

  • Air fryer alternative: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
