1 large egg

Instructions
Peel and cut the potatoes into even chunks. Place them in a large pot and add enough salted water to cover them. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until they’re fork-tender, about 15–20 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and let them sit for a few minutes to allow steam to escape.
Using a potato masher or ricer, mash the potatoes until smooth.
