Ingredients

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles

  • ½ cup pickle juice (for soaking pasta)

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup chopped red onion

  • ½ cup chopped celery

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • Salt & black pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.

  • Soak pasta in pickle juice for 5–10 minutes, then drain.

  • Mix dressing: In a bowl, whisk mayo, sour cream, dill, salt, and pepper.

  • Combine pasta with pickles, celery, onion, and dressing. Toss well.

  • Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Add cheddar cheese cubes or bacon bits for extra flavor.

  • Adjust pickle juice amount for more or less tang.

  • Best served cold and can be made ahead of time.
