Ingredients
Scale
1 lb of ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 can (15 oz) of black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup of corn
1 ½ cups of shredded cheese
1 bag (9 oz) of Doritos, nacho cheese flavor
1 cup of sour cream, for topping
1 cup of diced tomatoes
Optional: jalapeños, green onions, or avocado for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up while you prepare the filling.
Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add your ground beef. Cook it until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Add the flavor: Sprinkle in your taco seasoning and mix well, following the packet instructions. Add in the black beans and corn. Stir to combine, then let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
Assemble the base: In a greased pie dish or a 9×9 baking dish, spread a layer of the Doritos, shattering them slightly for an even base.
Layer it up: Pour the beef mixture over the Doritos evenly, followed by a generous sprinkle of cheese.
Top it off: Add another layer of crushed Doritos on top, followed by more cheese.
Bake it: Place your pie in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Get ready to feast: Once it's done baking, take it out and let it sit for a few minutes to cool slightly before serving.
