Description
Delight in this Easter Bunny poke cake! Perfect for festive gatherings, this fun dessert will impress friends and family with its yummy flavors.
1 box of white cake mix (plus ingredients needed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)
1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1½ cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2–3 drops of food coloring
Mini chocolate eggs and pastel sprinkles for decoration
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions, adding water, oil, and eggs. Mix until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Once your cake has cooled for about 15 minutes, poke holes all over the surface using the handle of a wooden spoon.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth, then pour it over the poked cake.
In another bowl, beat the heavy cream with a hand mixer until thick, gradually adding in the powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
Gently fold in a few drops of food coloring into the whipped cream.
Spread the whipped cream topping evenly over the cake.
Sprinkle pastel decorations, chocolate eggs, and sprinkles over the whipped cream layer.
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
