Delight in this easy Easter Oreo cookie casserole, packed with creamy layers and festive flavors. Perfect for your spring celebration!
24 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra for garnish, if you like)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Sprinkles for decoration (optional, and a must for fun!)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.
In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well-coated and press into the bottom of your prepared dish.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture and stir in the vanilla extract, adding in optional chocolate chips if desired.
Spread the creamy filling over the Oreo crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle additional crushed Oreos and fun festive sprinkles on top. Cut into squares and enjoy!
