Ingredients

2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)

1 tsp sugar

1 cup warm water (about 110°F)

2½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

¼ cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling

1 tsp dried rosemary or Italian herbs

Flaky salt, for topping (optional)
Instructions

Activate yeast: In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Make dough: Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until sticky dough forms.

First rise: Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.

Shape: Transfer dough to an oiled baking pan. Press and stretch gently to fit. Dimple surface with your fingers.

Top & bake: Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle herbs and flaky salt. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Cool & slice: Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy warm.
