8 oz cooked shrimp, chopped
8 oz lump crab meat
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 slices of thick-cut bread
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently fold these ingredients together until they're just combined.
Toast your slices of bread lightly in a skillet or under a broiler for a minute or two.
Once your bread is toasted, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Generously spoon the shrimp and crab mixture over each slice of toasted bread.
Sprinkle a little extra cheese on top if you’re feeling indulgent.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Once out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley.
