1 cup of shredded carrots

3 green onions, sliced
3 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tablespoons of soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat.
Add the ground pork (or turkey), breaking it up with a spatula. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until it starts to brown and is cooked through.
Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the shredded carrots and sliced cabbage to the skillet. Stir well, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender but still has a bit of crunch.
Pour in the soy sauce, tossing everything to coat well. Add salt, pepper, and optional hot sauce to taste.
