Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed & cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt & black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Heat the Pan – In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm 1 tbsp olive oil.
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken – Add chicken, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté the Asparagus – In the same pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil and asparagus. Cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp. Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce – Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
5️⃣ Combine Everything – Return chicken and asparagus to the pan, toss with lemon juice, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy! – Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
