Ingredients
For the Chicken:

2 large chicken breasts, sliced into cutlets

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons butter

For the Pasta:

8 oz spaghetti or linguine

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup reserved pasta water (more if needed)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook chicken until golden and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side). Add garlic in the last minute. Remove chicken and keep warm.

In the same pan, melt more butter. Add garlic, lemon zest, and juice. Sauté for 1 minute, then stir in pasta, Parmesan, and reserved pasta water. Toss until creamy.

Slice chicken and place over pasta. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
