Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ½ cup beef broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes per side (or to desired doneness). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add diced potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy.
- Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the pan, then pour in beef broth. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
- Return steaks to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over the meat. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispy potatoes, parboil them before pan-frying.
- Use a cast-iron skillet for a better sear on the steak.
- Add sautéed vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers for more flavor.
