These Garlic Pork Chops in Creamy Mushroom Sauce are pan-seared to perfection and smothered in a rich, garlicky mushroom sauce. This easy one-pan dish is perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season & Sear: Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  • Sauté Mushrooms & Garlic: Melt butter in the same pan, add mushrooms, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until creamy.
  • Finish Cooking: Return pork chops to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes, spooning sauce over them until fully cooked.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • Use bone-in pork chops for extra juiciness.
  • Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
