Juicy, herby turkey meatballs packed with Mediterranean flavors, paired with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce—this dish is light, delicious, and perfect for a healthy meal or appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt & ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cucumber, grated & excess water squeezed out
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt & ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1️⃣ In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, dill, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
2️⃣ Form the mixture into 16-18 meatballs and set aside.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
4️⃣ Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce: Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
5️⃣ Serve the meatballs with a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce and enjoy!

Notes

✔️ These meatballs are great on their own or served with pita bread, roasted vegetables, or a Greek salad.
✔️ For added flavor, squeeze extra lemon juice over the meatballs before serving.
✔️ You can bake the meatballs at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes for a lighter option.
